Hi I'm rather confused so maybe this post is somewhat stupid, but what are the pros and cons of EDTA vs using a desulfator on a single car battery for example. On large battery packs etc I understand but if EDTA removes the sulfate from the plates and drops it to the bottom, what difference is desulfating using a desulfinator and using EDTA, emptying the battrey and adding new electroloyte which will replace the sulphate in the solution? Am I missing something obvious here eg EDTA is taking the plate material with it or something?
Thanks
Peter
