It seems that most of the desulfators run around 1kHz.
I was wondering what the slowest frequency you could run that would still work (100Hz,10Hz,1Hz ???)
The idea is to keep the desulfator on the car, and use minimal power (car sits alot, no power source to charge battery).
The pulse would have the same power, there just wouldn't be as many of them.
Also with a low frequency, you could change the inductor that charges up the capacitor to just a resistor. (easier to obtain 1 inductor, resistor is cheaper too)
I would think there is some point at which the desulfator can't even keep up, then a slightly higher frequency in which it maintains status quo, and then a slightly higher frequency at which it will desulfate (although slowly, but since it's on all the time, it shouldn't matter)
