Has it occurred to anybody to use current mode control on a desulfator? I posted a diagram over at sci.electronics.basics to illustrate the basic idea. U1 is a dual comparator.

I went over to the google links page....it seems like instead of a schematic, there's a physical board layout....and it's unreadable.

You can view the ascii schematic by cut and paste. At the link Kell posted, highlight
the schematic (which appears "scrambled"). Copy it, then paste it into notepad. Your notepad must be set up in Courier font. If it is not, open a blank note, click format, then select Courier, Regular and 12. Then click ok. When you paste the schematic on the page (with the notepad set up properly) it will be unscrambled. If you are not used to reading ascii schematics it is worth the time to study the diagram so that you can see what he (or anyone who posts an ascii schematic) has in mind. Ed |

Interesting - I just came across this forum on the day that I finished assembling a new design of desulphator that uses that very principle. It's not tested yet so I will wait before saying any more - what a coincidence! |
